Intensive courses

in car learning

This course is based on eight or more hours per week.  The course is to suit people who may have already passed their motorbike test and have some driving experience or for some reason need to pass in a very quick time period.  Pupils wishing to take this course tend to have good reasons for wanting to take it, for example they may need a licence for a job that they have applied for.  To prepare for your Intensive Driving Course, a date to start needs to be planned well in advance.  This will allow you time to have taken (and passed) your theory test, and you will have to ask your driving instructor to book a test for you.  When booking the test you must make sure that the lessons you have arranged finish at least a week before the actual test date.  If you book a test that occurs straight after your lessons you may find that you are not actually ready for the test and need to cancel.  If you do not leave enough time after your lessons you may be in danger of losing the fee that you have paid for the test, and it you do take it you may in the worse case end up failing!!  Our instructors like to have an initial assessment with you when they can fully advise you on the best course of action for planning an intensive course.

A warning however must come with the Intensive Driving Course, although it may seem  the quickest way to get on the road, the government figures show that the pass rate while on these courses are much lower than learning by a more standard procedure.
